Here we go round the Mulberry twig probably wouldn’t have made such a catchy nursery rhyme.

Everybody knows it’s a mulberry bush. And they can eventually grow to a whopping 10m across.

The trouble is those bushes of nursery rhyme fame start off life as, well… a tiny tree twig sapling.

So when our very old friend Antony, and his young son James, kindly presented us with two mulberrys to plant at The Secret Acre last month they helped us plant the two twigs.

Now like the truffles, we have to wait for nature to do its stuff, and hopefully by 2022 we might be able to go round two mulberry bushes collecting the berries!
